Suntech systems expand in Sferia. 29-04-2008
Suntech S.A., the leading BSS & OSS software provider, upgraded and extended the functionality of its billing, customer care and workflow systems.
New system was also integrated with the Intelligent Network platform by Alcatel – Lucent. As a result Sferia can now launch new services and innovative pricing plans while maintaining real-time credit control.
„We needed to have our systems upgraded as the range of our services grew wider. In 2003 Suntech implemented business process management software. It evolved with the changing environment of the company and we knew that if we wanted to extend the functionality of these applications we needed to have it done by Suntech again”, - said Elżbieta Pamięta, Sferia’s IT manager.
"Sferia is the first network in Poland and one of the first companies in Europe to have implemented radio access in CDMA technology. For us it meant meeting very special requirements and implementing several perfectly integrated systems. This provides the carrier with customer care end-to-end processes”, said Wojciech Franczak, Vice-President of Suntech.
Sferia S.A. is a CDMA telecommunication carrier. It provides telephone services as well as wireless, broadband Internet services.
